Bisection method for CMG steering logic in satellite attitude control

Control moment gyros (CMG) are actuators for agile spacecraft attitude control. We connect the problem of moment distribution in CMG with the well-known control allocation problem in aircrafts. Using this analogy, we propose a novel moment distribution algorithm that is based on a multidimensional interval bisection technique, presented before in a different context.
