Nonsynchronous Modes and Bifurcation of a Frequency-Phase-Feedback Oscillator with an Inverted Frequency Discriminator Characteristic

The results of a numerical investigation of dynami-cal states and bifurcation transitions of a frequency-phase-feedback oscillator models with an inverted fre-quency discriminator characteristic are presented in the paper. The behavior of the examined models is de-scribed by nonlinear two- and five-dimensional set of differential equations with periodical nonlinearities. It is shown that the models demonstrate complex behavior including chaotic self-modulation oscillations. Results are presented using a two-parameter portrait of motions, one-parameter bifurcation diagrams, and phase portraits of attractors.
