Chatter and grazing bifurcations and chaotic invariant sets of impact systems
S.G. Kryzhevich
Two bifurcations, proper to strongly nonlinear systems are described on the example of dynamical systems with impact. It is shown that both of them yield the existence of the "Smale horseshoe" and, consequently, one of a chaotic invariant set. Some conditions, sufficient for a vibro-impact system to have a chaotic invariant set, are offered.
