EXPLOITING CHAOS TO DESIGN FLEXIBLE HARDWARE
We describe simple mechanisms that can effectively extract a wide
variety of stable spatiotemporal patterns from a chaotic system.
Further we indicate how this controllable richness of chaotic dynamics
may be exploited to constitute a flexible and versatile computing
medium. We verify some of these concepts in experiments on
chaotic circuits.
