Control of sandy bottom profile by strongly nonlinear surface waves.

In this report we present experimental results on sand bottom profile formation and segregation of particles possessing different characteristics caused by strongly nonlinear surface (soliton) waves. We revealed the influence of bottom profile on dissipation rate of surface wave. Theoretical models for interaction of soliton with sandy bottom and segregation of particles have been proposed.
