This paper gives a brief description of the space policy and activities of the Federal Republic of Nigeria implemented through National space Research and development Agency,(NASRDA) Abuja, Nigeria.NASRDA is one of the research institutions under the aegis of the Nigeria Federal Ministry of Science and Technology with a mission to pursue the research and development of space science and technology.The NASRDA policy aims at ensuring that Nigeria vigorously pursues the attainment of Space Capabilities as an essential tool for its socio-economic development and the enhancement of the quality of life of its people.
